  • 1. What is the difference between a salt pool and a chlorine pool?

A saltwater pool is a chlorine pool. Saltwater pools electronically convert the salt into chlorine. It is the chlorine that keeps the pool clean. Due to the challenges associated with saltwater pools, we recommend a mineral sanitizing system. It provides overall cleaner, more comfortable pool water without the problems often caused by salt.

  • 2. How long does it take to build a pool?

The average basic residential pool takes four to six weeks for construction (weather permitting). As design features and elaborate details are added to the pool, time is also added to construction.

  • 3. How do I take care of my pool?

A demonstration is given at the end of every pool project to teach basic maintenance. We also can recommend reputable cleaning services.

  • 4. Can I get a heated pool?

Yes. All pools can be heated. If you have a spa, your pool all ready has the ability to be heated. If not, a heater may be added.

  • 5. How deep should I have my pool?

Diving pools require a minimum depth of 8 ½ feet. Sport pools typically have an area no deeper than 5 feet.

  • 7. Why is a gunite pool better than a liner pool?

To put it simply, a gunite pool is stronger and will last longer. A liner pool is built of plastic walls and a vinyl liner. Liner pools commonly have only two water returns and one skimmer, which lead to poor water circulation. Our gunite pools are made of 3/8 inch and ½ inch rebar steel and shotcrete. They have at least four returns, two skimmers and two main drains for added safety.
